Mr. Philippe Lette C.M. was appointed Member of the Order of Canada on December 29, 2022 by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, for his outstanding career in commercial and business law and his contribution to Canada and its people.

The Order of Canada is the highest civilian honour in Canada. The distinction is awarded under the auspices of the Prime Minister to citizens considered exemplary according to the Order’s Latin motto "desiderantes meliorem patriam", which means "desiring a better country". The insignia represents a six-pointed snowflake with a maple leaf surrounded by a red ring in the centre.

Founded in 1967, the Order distinguishes Canadians who have made extraordinary contributions to the nation during their lifetime as well as the efforts of non-Canadians who have made the world better by their actions
